When will GTA 6 come to PC? What 25 years of history says
Rockstar has never launched a mainline game on PC day one. Not once, going back to 2001. The full record:

Six games, six late ports, zero exceptions. Apply that pattern to a November 19, 2026 console launch and you get a PC release somewhere between mid-2027 (GTA IV pace) and mid-2028 (GTA V pace). That's an estimate — the moment Rockstar gives a real date, it replaces this paragraph and the email goes out.
Why isn't GTA 6 on PC at launch?
Rockstar has never explained it publicly, and they've never needed to. Two reasons cover most of it.
The engineering one: a console launch means optimizing for exactly two fixed hardware targets. PC means thousands of GPU, driver, and Windows combinations, and Rockstar ports have historically shipped with extras that take real time — first-person mode and the Rockstar Editor arrived with GTA V's re-releases, not its original launch.
The money one: the staggered rollout worked embarrassingly well last time. GTA V sold to PS3 owners in 2013, PS4 owners in 2014, and PC players in 2015, and a lot of people paid twice. Take-Two gets asked about a GTA 6 PC version on basically every earnings call, and the answer has never gone further than a variation of "nothing to announce today."
Can you play GTA 6 on PC right now?
No — and this is the part worth being careful about. There is no PC beta, no early access, no press build, no "leaked port." Anything calling itself a GTA 6 PC download today is malware, a survey scam, or both, aimed precisely at people impatient enough to click. When the real PC version happens, you'll hear it from Rockstar and buy it on Steam, Epic, or the Rockstar Store. Not from a Discord DM.

There's no Steam page yet, and that absence is informative. Rockstar's PC ports announce themselves through store listings first — GTA V and RDR2 both did. The day a GTA 6 Steam or Epic page appears is the day this whole page changes.
What are the GTA 6 PC system requirements?
There aren't any, because there's no PC version to have requirements. Every spec sheet currently floating around is made up. When Rockstar publishes real ones, they'll be here the same day.
Will GTA 6 run on Steam Deck?
Today the answer is simply no, since no PC version exists. For whenever one does: GTA V's story mode runs fine on Deck, so there's precedent. But that's speculation stacked on speculation.
